John Simes – author of The Dream Factory trilogy – has been honoured by the Paris School of Arts and Culture. John’s vivid and tense short story about a teenage boy who lost his parents, and is comforted and counselled by his smartphone, was chosen from entries from around the world to be included in the Paris School’s annual publication, ‘The Menteur’.
John commented, “I’m feeling completely completely chuffed and honoured to have my short story, Om, included with the work of 113 brilliant artists and writers from around the world in The Menteur. It is a wonderful broad and rich cultural magazine. I’m now in contact with a loot of the contributors. It’s a real triumph for the whole ‘Dream Factory’ project. The next twelve months will be particularly exciting with a new screen play, more stories and the final novel ‘Cape Farewell/The Island’ being completed.”
